Proven Leadership

Approached the County Board about the area Heroin epidemic and lobbied for action in 1999. Led the lobbying efforts for the Dupage County Drug Court in 2002 to start accepting new applicants, as they had quietly stopped. The County Board had not been aware that Drug Court had done this.

As a community Leader, I helped stop the construction of 16 homes in a flood plane area.

Supported the community's safety and assisted local citizens in blocking the construction of a Mega Gas Station in their neighborhood, on Rte. 53 and Butterfield Rd.

Fiscally Responsible

Help save the taxpayers $70 million by voicing disapproval on an unnecessary DuPage County Jail building expansion.

Let's Make a Difference

Reform and implement new drug programs to address the issues that face our county residents. Over all these years the County"s opioid drug addiction problem has steadily grown, and with it a dramatic increase in overdose deaths. They are someones kids who are incapable of helping themselves.

Work with the County Sheriff to improve and rehabilitate our County Jail.

Address the flooding and sewer issues that  plague our County.

Support the DuPage County Animal Shelter toward increased capacity and minimal kill.
